But also….Columbus native, writer, mother, wife, believer. Lover of lattes, fresh air, good conversation, and pastries.
How do you even begin to explain how you landed in your dream career when it begins with the rest of your life story? I’ll try to keep it short for you.
Already a nurse, I left hospital work and pursued childbirth education and lactation counseling after giving birth to my first son at home in 2023. Birth and postpartum were deeply changing for me, and I was rocked by the lack of support and education I’d received from traditional healthcare. I discovered deep passion for changing my corner of the birth world in this way and have been on a mission to educate and empower women in motherhood ever since.
2025 gifted me with a second son and homebirth, and I knew then that labor, birth, and postpartum support is where my heart and passion truly lie. Doula work is everything I am passionate about wrapped into one place: educating, supporting, holding, laboring, witnessing, celebrating—the work you’ve done, the work you’re doing, the work still set before you.
Birth is so many things: wild, difficult, beautiful, transformative, raw, unpredictable, unique, untamed, and I have profound respect for that.
We live in a society that doesn’t always honor birth or motherhood for what it they truly are, but I want to be someone who does. I want to help you into a position of empowerment, support and protect your birth experience, and hold you as you step into motherhood, in all its glory.
That’s what I’m here to do.
